About Sonic Combine:

The band ”Sonic Combine" also known as the “Bob Rauschenberg Studio House Band,” performs on custom audio sculptures, synthesizers, World Flutes, Electronic Wind Instruments, and Theremin in Southwest Florida and internationally. Lawrence Voytek, Kat Epple, and Laurence Getford create an abstract sound that is not always musical, sometimes discordant, regularly beautiful, often powerful, and truly interesting.

They acknowledge that their friend, legendary visual artist Bob Rauschenberg, was a major influence in their work. Sonic Combine became known as the “Bob Rauschenberg Studio House Band”, and sometimes Rauschenberg himself joined in playing on their unique instruments.
